We like to make AU campervan hire cheap and easy, hard to believe isn't it! Our insurance options are no different.

But for those keen to avoid anything that might make their Australian campervan trip a little less enjoyable we offer two additional liability reduction options, so you can sleep easy while on your holiday.

 

Terms explained

  • "Standard insurance" means that the vehicle you hire is insured for damage to the vehicle and to the property of a Third Party. 
  •  "Excess" means the dollar amount the driver is liable for in the event of vehicle, other vehicle or property damage. Also known as "excess level" or "liability".
  • Our "Liability Reduction: insurance options allow you to upgrade your insurance cover which reduces this excess amount.
  • "Age" refers to the age of the youngest person who will be driving the rental vehicle. It is determined at the start of your hire period; not the date when you booked the vehicle.
 

Accident Liability explained 

  • Standard Liability is included for free as part of your basic campervan rental fee.
  • The excess can be reduced by purchasing one of our liability insurance options as detailed below.

*If vehicle is in a single vehicle roll over than the customer is liable for $7,500.

Tyre & Windscreen cover is not included with any Explore More hire, but can be purchased with Liability Reduction - Option 2 for an extra $5/day or a maximum charge if $250.
